What We
Offer
In-person and telehealth appointments available
Individual Therapy
We utilize a trauma informed approach to psychotherapy with a diverse range of modalities to provide comprehensive care tailored to your unique needs. By integrating evidence-based approaches and the assisted practices of Yoga, among others, we offer a transformative journey toward healing and growth.
Adolescent & Adult Therapy
At our practice, we proudly offer a wide range of therapeutic modalities for individuals aged 13 and older. We understand that each client is unique, and our dedicated team is committed to adjusting our approaches to meet the specific needs of teenagers, adults and seniors. Your journey is important to us, and we are here to support you every step of the way.
Physical, Nutritional, & Financial Wellness Education
We are mindful of the connection between physical, nutritional, financial and mental health and our approach integrates psychotherapy with a deep understanding of how each of these can influence our mental health.
Couples/Family Therapy
Within couples and family counseling we work to identify and address issues within your relationships, focusing on improving communication, intimacy, resolving conflict, establishing healthy boundaries, and strengthening overall connection between members by examining the dynamics of the family system as a whole; aiming to create positive changes in your interactions with one another.
Yoga, Mindfulness, Breathwork Practices
We believe an imperative piece of the holistic approach is incorporating discussed practices into therapy. This is based on each individual's preference and tailored to their own unique treatment. It can include integrating yoga into psychotherapy sessions to practice grounding while simultaneously working through processing emotions. It can also include the use of self-calming and mindfulness techniques in session.
Medication Management Partnership
We believe medication can be beneficial and necessary, but ideally as a last resort as many mental health symptoms can be treated without medication. We support all of our clients' necessary and desired use of medication by partnering with integrated clinics offering medication management, primary care, and medically assisted treatment (MAT) services.
Our
Evidence
Based Approaches
*This is not an exhaustive list
Embark on a journey of self-discovery and empowerment with us, where the fusion of science and holistic wisdom paves the way to lasting transformation.
(CBT) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Considered to be the gold standard of therapy as it is one of the most evidence-based approaches. CBT focuses on identifying and changing negative thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to emotional distress. It is based on the idea that our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are interconnected, and by altering dysfunctional thoughts and behaviors, we can improve emotional well-being and cope better with challenges.
(DBT) Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Combines aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with principles of mindfulness and acceptance, emphasizing the balance between acceptance of one's current emotional state and the need for change.
(SFT) Solution Focused Therapy Goal-oriented, short-term therapeutic approach that focuses on finding solutions to current problems rather than analyzing the past or exploring the causes of the issues. The therapy is grounded in the belief that individuals have the resources and strengths within themselves to resolve their challenges, and that the therapist's role is to help clients identify and build on these strengths.
(EMDR) Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing Therapy Based on the idea that disturbing memories and experiences can be "locked" in the brain in an unprocessed form, causing ongoing emotional and psychological symptoms. The therapy helps the brain reprocess these memories, reducing their emotional charge and enabling the individual to integrate them in a healthier way.
(MI) Motivational Interviewing Designed to help individuals resolve ambivalence and find their own motivation for making positive changes in their behaviors. MI is particularly effective for people facing behavior change challenges, such as addiction, chronic illness management, and other areas like weight loss, smoking cessation, or improving mental health.
